Many people with intellectual and developmental disabilities want to be active participants in decisions about their own lives and advocate for policy change. However, they often lack the experience of standing up for themselves and speaking out. Activate Here! is a series of seven short videos for self-advocates, by self-advocates. These videos, which feature engaging animations and original score, are designed to refresh people with intellectual and developmental disabilities on their advocacy skills. They can be watched in whatever order the user chooses.
